Leadership Empowerment

"You don't make progress by standing on the sidelines, whimpering
and complaining. You make progress by implementing ideas."
The Honorable Shirley Chisholm, (D-NY), Founding President,
National Political Congress of Black Women

Leadership Empowerment  endeavors to encompass a wide range of key initiatives which focus on  preparing women for the political, government, and private sector. Our past projects have included our members participating in the 20/20 Bipartisan Justice Center's Presidential Justice Forum held on the Campus of Benedict College;  the Annual Women's Achievement Summit sponsored by U.S. Senator, The Honorable  Mark Warner (D-Va) ; the 2019 Commemoration Event of the 400 Anniversary of Slaves arriving in Virginia; and Voices from the Garden: The Virginia Women’s Monument: The Nation’s First Monument Honoring of Women’s Achievements; and the Black Women's Agenda annual symposiums.
